2026 Extended School Year Program (ESYP) Announced. Register Now.

We are excited to announce that we will be offering the Extended School Year Program for the summer of 2026! The purpose of this correspondence is to share pertinent information regarding programmatic details, such as timeline, registration, and contact information for the ESYP Principals, in case you encounter any questions.
Below, please find the listing of each program, description, start and end times, and dates. Some programs have a link to register, while others are based on school and district leader recommendation. The deadline to register for 21st Century and Empire Programs is Monday, June 15, 2026.

P-TECH Summer Program |
Two courses taught by SUNY Orange professors to students entering their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of P-TECH. Both classes are required for a college degree in Networking and Cyber Security. Summer Bridge, IBM Analytics/Math Accuplacer, IBM Internships, and OCCC Classes are also provided.

Empire ESYP Enrichment Programs |
The ESYP offers scholars the opportunity to engage with and collaborate with peers in small group settings. Scholars are provided with opportunities to learn new skills or engage in new activities based on their interests. These programs also provide a focus on social and emotional learning, enrichment opportunities, and the health and well-being of our scholars. Empire ESYP |
Black Rock Forest (7/6-7/31) 9:00am-1:30pm (Current 2nd-8th Graders) Black Rock Forest, located in Cornwall, New York, offers immersive summer programs that connect students with nature through hands-on scientific exploration. In partnership with local organizations, the forest hosts educational field trips and activities for students of all ages. Participants engage in diverse themes such as art, hydrosphere, atmosphere, biosphere, and ecology, conducting experiments like water quality testing and contributing to citizen science projects. These programs aim to foster a deeper understanding of environmental science and conservation in a dynamic, outdoor setting. |
